My name is Jill Aburrow and I have worked in HR for two decades or more. During that time I have come across some very dedicated people who are fulfilled and focussed at work. On the other hand, I have seen far more very unhappy people whose attitude can be infectious and start to impact on those around them, like rotten fruit in an enclosed container.
The idea has been germinating in my mind for some years that, in my HR capacity, I could – and should – make more of a difference for these people. And so JMA HR was born, with the idea of putting the people at the centre of business and putting the “human” back into “Human Resources”. My mission is to advise and support businesses with managing their employees in a respectful, pleasant and professional manner, so that no matter what challenges the business is facing and the impact of that on the people who work there, those people are able to enjoy work and to feel they have been treated fairly and professionally.
I contacted Jill for advice on contractual matters. Jill is quick to respond and pro-active in gathering all the information she needs to provide an informed response. Thank you Jill for your advice and help, it’s very much appreciated. Archway Heritage
